The Times’ annual “Best 100 Restaurants in NYC” list just dropped, and we’re sure everyone will agree with it. 🍽️ (New York Times)
There’s a new No. 1 restaurant this year, and you can save the list to your Google Maps account by clicking here.
Get ready for shorter wait times at Newark Liberty International Airport. Yes, you read that correctly. Runway construction at Newark has finished almost two weeks early after the Port Authority ramped up work on the $121 million project. (ABC New York)
With this runway back open, the airport is expected to add six more flight take-offs and landings per hour.
Plus, new network fiber optic cables were installed between Long Island and the air traffic control center in Philadelphia, which should prevent the radar system from going out again in the future. ✈️
The latest in NYC’s “trash revolution”: Large residential buildings in West Harlem are now required to put trash in large bins on the street instead of in piles on the curb. 🗑️ (Gothamist)
There’s been talk of expanding the program citywide, though the process would be expensive and require removing thousands of parking spots.
