Six ballot measures that could reshape NYC’s housing and elections (New York Times)

Proposal 1 concerns building an Olympic sports complex on state forest preserve land.
Proposals 2-6 were written (with public input) by the Charter Revision Commission.
Two through four focus on speeding up affordable housing approvals.
Proposal 5 would bring the city’s paper maps online.
Proposal 6 would move local elections to presidential years — a change that would need statewide approval to take effect.
